Allison McGarrigle

“FASHION is how we choose to decorate ourselves.  It can show your interests or your personality at a certain point in time. Generations are described by how they dress and fashion reflects what people are seeing, reading, listening too, and what they are doing.”

Allison moved to Boston in 1998, and began working at I Soci Salon during the Summer of 2001.  She has studied in Paris and New York through Wella, Bumble and Bumble, and many others.  Allison was recently featured in the Fashion Boston monthly publication, highlighting their favorite Colorists in the city of Boston, and she was named Best of Boston in the Improper Bostonian magazine in 2007.

My favorite technique is my foiling.  It changes with each person, but I use a fine weave/slice technique that allows me to get close to the root and keeps it looking more natural.  This also works for bold looks, I just do it a bit more.
